First race I got to trade today was Newmarket at 15:50 as I had a mad busy day at work and as long as that’s paying the bills, it remains my priority. Anyway, that particular race didn’t start until around 15:57 which meant I missed Newbury at 15:55 and didn’t get in early enough on the 16.00 at Leopardstown. So only really an hours’ worth of trading today, I only trade until 17:00. But still, that’s better than nothing. The races came in thick and fast after that so still a reasonable amount of screen time regardless. And ended the day in profit finding trading opportunities in three races.
I really want to get some exposure to trading every day if I can. I don’t think I’ll get the chance tomorrow as it’s Saturday and generally if I have anything planned with other people it’s on a weekend. A shame really as weekends have some good racing, but you really can’t let trading consume you. It’s a means to an end and you have to have a life. If I can trade 5 days out of 7 most weeks, I’ll be happy enough with that.
